He grew up in a family full of artistic talent. His mother, a graduate of the art academy, taught drawing and painting, specializing in portraits and nudes. His father worked in sculpture and ceramics. In 2000, at the age of 30, he held a joint exhibition with both of them.

Over the years, he focused primarily on drawing animals, especially dogs, as well as landscapes and various other subjects.

Following the passing of his wife in 2017, he returned to life drawing as a way to find peace of mind. What began as a form of emotional healing soon evolved into a tribute—an intimate way to honour his wife’s resilience and the profound impact she had on his personal growth.

This practice became his “naked therapy”: a deeply personal journey that gradually shifted from coping with grief to rediscovering joy in artistic expression, and further refining his own drawing style and skills.
